This iconic vehicle has been used extensively by J.K. Rowling as the main transportation tool between locations in her wonderful novel, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and its sequel, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. From the outside the replica bus looks like the real thing and is quite impressive indeed. It has been built using the most authentic Harry Potter sets, and features real glass windows. People can sit back, relax and enjoy the wonderful scenery which is sure to impress. Visitors who visit the location before the official opening will have an opportunity to try out the Knight Bus for the first time and get a feel of how it will look when it leaves the area.
The Knight Bus is one of the main attractions at Leavesden, a picturesque spot located in north London. Harry, Ron and Hermione make their way through many exciting locations while trying to prevent Lord Voldemort from destroying the world. These famous trio meets at the top of a large circular staircase which connects the main areas of Leavesden, Potter World and the Escape from Gringotts. It is here that they learn about the history of the wizarding world and see some of the memorable scenes from the Harry Potter series.
Visitors will also get a chance to go on the Knight Bus for a much closer encounter with JK Rowling’s magical world of Azkaban. It is here in Azkaban where the third book of the Harry Potter series, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, is set to be published by Littlewoods Press. Although it is situated just inside the Ministry of Magic, it was designed especially as a location for JK Rowling to visit while creating her masterpiece. One of the main scenes from the book, Azkaban, is set to feature one of the more gruesome executions in all of JK Rowling’s books. In this location, the Death Eaters take innocent victims while executing a death sentence. The location of this scene was chosen because of its unique architecture and appearance, and many people came to appreciate it for its visual beauty and design as well as its location within the Ministry of Magic.
Another location which features on the Knight Bus is the prison facility of Azkaban. Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince were inspired to create this location due to the dark atmosphere within the prison. Prison officials are dressed in black, which is a contrast to the bright colors that are seen commonly throughout most ministries. Many fans came to appreciate this location for its design as well as its location.
Finally, the final location on the tour is the location of the Ministry of Magic itself. During the tour, a number of tourists can take a look at the large iconic window located on the front of the Ministry of Magic. The window features a scene from the world premiere of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, which features the scene of the dark wizard Lord Voldemort torturing innocent bystanders with the Cruciatus curse. The Ministry of Magic is a location which is seen often in the Harry Potter series, and seeing it in person is quite amazing, as is the actual location of the building.
